RAPID RELIEF RESPONSE (R3)

ANCOP USA aims to provide timely response to victims of natural disasters and humanitarian crises by bringing immediate aid and relief goods.

The CALAMITY RESPONSE FUND ensures that we are able to quickly deploy resources whenever help is needed in our mission areas.  This includes the immediate provision of the basic needs of every individual including clothes, mats and blankets, non-perishable food, drinkable water hygienic supplies and medicines.

A medical mission of volunteer doctors and other medical practitioners may also be dispatched to disaster areas to address the medical needs of calamity victims during the relief operations.

MEDICAL MISSIONS

ANCOP USA conducts short-term medical missions to provide quality compassionate care to families that do not have regular access to medical care.  These clinics are coordinated through local parishes in communities where we have established meaningful partnerships.

Our goal is not just to address the impact of poor health but to share the Gospel of Christ to families and restore their dignity as human beings and children of God.

Volunteer opportunities are available to medical professionals who are willing to be used by the Lord to bring healing and hope to underserved and marginalized communities.

CHIAPAS, MEXICO

BICOL REGION, PHILIPPINES

Just before the holiday season last year, ANCOP USA responded to calamities that struck two of our mission areas.  Hurricane ETA hit the state of Chiapas in Mexico in the first week of November 2020 which caused severe flooding and landslides in many areas.  More than 900 homes were damaged and about 20 fatalities were reported.

In the same month, two devastating typhoons Rolly and Ulysses ravaged the Bicol region, Metro Manila, and Northern Luzon areas.  Thousand of homes were destroyed and about 24 fatalities were reported.

ANCOP USA quickly sent out an urgent appeal and was able to provide cash assistance that enabled local response teams to mobilize and deliver relief goods to the affected areas.

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.
